5 Word Writing Challenge: Indecent Exposure

Here is another story done using 5 different words. The words that I ended up picking were:

  1. Unyielding
  2. Answer phone
  3. Charge Sheet
  4. Father
  5. Obnoxious

Here is my story (it is done to a 100 word count):

A cop sat at his desk filling out a charge sheet. He sighed.

This guy is so obnoxious I don’t understand how his father can stand him. The police officer picked up the phone and dialed a number. The phone rang until he was greeted with the answer phone, once again.

“Hello, Mr. Stevens. This is officer Parker with the metropolitan police. Your son has been arrested, once again, for indecent exposure, this time we found…when you get this message, could you please come to the station. Thank you.”

Officer Parker put the phone down. Why is this guy so unyielding?

I decided to have it that Officer Parker is an acquaintance of the father.

    • I guess it would be hard for the police seeing the same person getting arrested, because they get put into prison to stop them committing the crime and learn from their mistake.

I did write another version to this one, but it had too many gaps and had many questions. Then I wrote this one. 🙂
